Mrs. Bedell Scott Broughton, 92 of 26 Maple St, entered into eternal rest Thursday, January 15, 2015 at a local hospital. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Broughton are invited to attend her funeral service 11:00 am Monday, January 12, 2015 at Bethany Baptist Church, 790 Meeting St. Rev. Dr. E. Mack is the pastor. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Viewing for Mrs. Broughton is Sunday 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home and at the church Monday 10:00 am until the hour of service. No viewing after the service. Mrs. Broughton is survived by her daughters and son, Alma Scott Smalls, David Broughton (Jacqueline) and Emma Broughton Taylor (Fred) her devoted grand and care giver, Dana L.Scott; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
